A flannel scrap quilt

This is a quilt I made using offcuts from a larger project. The larger project involved lots of triangular seams which combined with the thick flannel made it quite difficult to sew. So this time I decided to stick to right angles.

I made up the design as I went along and during its making the quilt took many different forms in my head before I settled on the final layout.

The quilt is backed with flannel and simply outline quilted with thick thread.
